Orbit Platforms, Inc. (“Orbit Platforms,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our product, Orbit (“App”) or website (“Site”). Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
1.Information We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of information:
a. Personal Information You Provide
- Account details: Your name and email address, provided when you create an account with Sign in with Apple. If you use Apple's Hide My Email feature, we receive your private relay address instead of your personal email.
- Profile information: Fitness goals, preferences, and manually inputted data.
- User content: Posts, workout results, and other content you share through the App's social features.
b. Data Collected with Your Device Permissions
The App requests the following iOS permissions, each only for the purpose described. You can change these at any time in your device settings.
- Camera: Used to track your form during workouts and give real-time feedback on your exercise technique. Video is analyzed on your device as you exercise; we do not upload your camera footage. Challenge replays are saved to your device only when you choose to save or share them.
- Apple Health: With your permission, we read your workouts and workout routes from Apple Health to show them on your activity feed (route maps are visible only to friends you've added), and we save your completed workouts back to Apple Health. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Microphone: Used for audio during challenge mode workouts with friends.
- Photos: Used only to save your challenge result cards to your photo library so you can share them.
c. Automatically Collected Information
- Usage data: App interactions, features used, and session length, collected through our analytics provider, Amplitude.
- Device information: Hardware model, operating system, IP address, and unique device identifiers.
- Log and crash data: Timestamps, error reports, and crash diagnostics, collected through Firebase Crashlytics.
